The small dark rear kitchen / dine is creatively transformed – doubled in size and generous glazed doors with sidelights further extend the room into the garden. The ceiling was stepped up to a high rooflight to “reach for the sunlight” as it moves to the side in the afternoon. The raised ceiling gives a great sense of airiness.
